Flushing Lunar New Year Parade

Flushing is home to Queens’ first—and largest—Asian American neighborhood. As such, the area’s Lunar New Year Parade is a huge draw each year, with vibrant costumes, floats, dancing and traditional Lunar New Year celebrations. Start off with a warm-up reception of coffee and doughnuts at the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce from 9:30 to 10:30am, and then march over to the parade site at Union Street and 37th Avenue. The parade will begin at approximately 11am.  Please come to see the new Hello Taiwan float sponsored by several Taiwanese American community organizations.
