The Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration (AAPI) promotes the importance of cultural diversity in building a vibrant, prosperous and health community in Suffolk County. Showcasing multicultural heritage from 11 different cultures including arts & culture, music, songs, and featuring prominent professional Asian artists. The Suffolk County Asian American Advisory Board and the Suffolk County Office of Minority Affairs recognizes the outstanding achievements of Distinguished Asian American Pacific Islander Honorees and Social Harmony Writing Contest winners.
